All have a conditional warranty of 10 years which is fully backed by AXA Insurance.
The guarantee is effective from the date on which the system is installed. Under the terms of this warranty Poujoulat will supply replacement product for failures due to manufacturing defects only. The guarantee extends only in respect of the system product alone and only to us providing you with a replacement system. It will cover the delivery of that replacement product to the installation address. It specifically does not cover labour costs, or any other incidental or consequential losses and you are responsible for any costs related to the removal, transit and disposal of the defective system. The guarantee does not apply to problems associated with any negligent or other improper use. It does not apply to the extent that defects arise as a result of use of fittings other that Poujoulat approved fittings; because of any alterations or repairs that you have made to it or because of alterations or repairs that you have made to it or because of alterations or repairs that have been made on your behalf. It does not cover accidental damage suffered during transit or otherwise;
Limitations: The installation must have been carried out in accordance with the manufacturers installation instructions and in accordance with all current regulations. Installations for use with solid fuel should be installed by a registered HETAS or NAPIT installer, or alternatively has been signed off and approved by local Authority Building Control. A properly completed Chimney Notice Plate must be with the installation and this should state date of installation, the name and address of the installer and the type, size and make of the product liner. Photographs of the Chimney Notice Plate and the installation should be sent as registration details to “email@example.com” within 30 days of installation.
A full record of service and sweeping would need to be kept showing regular sweeping at least once or twice a year by a suitably qualified and registered chimney sweep using the correct type of and size of equipment. Following sweeping or any maintenance procedure involving the chimney system, the date, company and activity details must be kept safe and volunteered in the event of a claim.
