This cast iron model is reminiscent of a wood-burning stove, but with all the benefits of a pellet stove. The Jøtul PF 980 is a cube-shaped model with a beautiful 9 kW output, perfect for heating spacious interiors. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth make it easy to use.
Wood pellets are small cylinders of compressed sawdust of different types of wood. They are 100% natural and free of chemical additives. When heating with pellets, the pellet quality is important.
You need to choose good quality pellets, without bark, to produce maximum heat efficiency with minimum ash and waste.
CO2 released during the combustion of pellets corresponds to the oxygen the tree previously absorbed during its lifetime. The effect is therefore neutral on greenhouse gas emissions.
